Redesigned 1960’s council house to provide a modern social living space.

The kitchen and dining room have been knocked through to provide a modern social living space. New French doors were added and a patio laid outside to extend the useable space during the summer months to create a social space that is accessible to all. The new French doors add additional light, making the area a bright  and airy space

In addition to the kitchen remodelling, the side of the house was rediesigned to create a utilty area and downstairs toilet along with a storage space for boots shoes and coats. The original coal shed and dreary  storage area have been completely transformed. This area runs of the hallway from the kitchen and is ideal as a working space for a busy family.

The living room is now a bright clean space with huge picture window.

The hallway, originally dark with suspended ceiling lights has been fitted with spot lights to the ground floor and LVT flooring and painted in a subtle shade of green which creates a calm space as you enter. This theme was carried through to the 1st floor landing and creates a light open space.

The toilet has had a facelift also and has been up graded to complete the overall modern look.

All bedrooms have been fitted with insulated plaster board to help with heat retention, painted and fitted with new sliding door wardrobes and new carpets.

Total project cost £40,000.00
