Single-storey Kitchen extension and reconfiguration of ground floor Utility and WC.
Once the walls were out we were ready to put the steels in to create the new layout.
Work started externally to build the single storey extension which would house the kitchen and dining room area.
The external wall was knocked down and replaced with Bi-Fold doors and roof lights were added to the ceiling to maximise the light to the area.
The knock through opened up the old dining room on to the new open plan area and has created a large open space for family gatherings.
The new utility room and WC are now of the main entrance hall which is punctuated by a doorway which leads to the new extension and opens on to a vista of the garden. A side door allows access to the side entrance.
The result is a social space, flooded with light that creates an open feel to be enjoyed by all family and friends Summer and winter.
